We saw a gap in how people do tours. You basically have two choices. You can take a tour on a bus with many other people which will restrict where you can go, or you take a limo, with a driver who may or may not know very much about the area. What we are offering is something better than either. It is a private guided tour, (between 2 and 6 people) that can be customized to go anywhere that you would like, or you can sit back and enjoy as we take you to our favorite places.

With our tours, we don’t follow a set schedule and go to the same places every day like most other companies. As the day goes on, we can tailor the tour as we learn what you enjoy exploring most. The day is customized as we go, so you can stay anywhere as long as you would like and don’t have to worry feeling rushed to make the next landmark on time. On the other hand, we can always plan a day out in advance if you have specific requests.

We do our tours in new Ford Expeditions, complete with comfortable leather seating for six, rear climate control, and privacy tinting. Larger vehicles can also be arranged.

San Francisco may very well be the most beautiful city in the U.S. The city boasts over fifty distinct neighborhoods in about that many square miles. It is a place known for its year round temperate climate and cultural diversity, where the streets are lined with Victorian mansions and the fog can roll in unexpectedly.

Gaspar de Portola discovered the San Francisco Bay in 1769, and the small town of Yerba Buena was founded at its entrance. A military base was established in the presidio and a mission in the interior. The entire area was known as Alta California and belonged to Spain, until the collapse of its empire in 1821, when it was declared part of Mexico.

The area changed hands again in 1848, as a result of the Mexican-American war. Gold was discovered that same year, which led to the arrival of thousands of immigrants searching for a new life. The towns name was changed to San Francisco around this time, and was centered around Portsmouth Square (now in Chinatown.) Finding gold was an equal opportunity to everyone, and people from every corner of the world came in scores. People from the Orient, Europe, South America, Australia, or America’s east coast settled in different parts of the city, which led to many of its most famous neighborhoods today. As early as 1854, it was recorded that “street life in San Francisco is a kaleidoscope that never rests.”

This tour must be booked at least 24 hours in advance of your travel date. Your confirmation for this product will be received within 12- 24 hours subject to availability.

Cancellation and No Show Policy

Cancellations within 24 hours of the tour are charged in full. Cancellations prior to 24 hours are charged a minimum $10.00 per person administration fee. We charge for NO SHOWS. No Shows on tour dates are charged 100%. Some specific tours and activities have a higher cancellation fee due to the limited space available.

Recommended for all tours in San Francisco: Comfortable shoes, extra layer of warm clothing, hats, visors and sunglasses.

Weather: Tour route or activity may be changed depending on local weather conditions.

Meals, Gratuities and Souvenirs are not included.
