Ahwahnee Hotel Yosemite National Park

Yosemite National Park 2 Day Tour with Hotel

California's National Treasure - Yosemite National Park is almost 1200 square miles in area. Embracing a spectacular tract of mountain and valley scenery in the Sierra Nevada, it was set aside as a National Park in 1890. The park harbors a grand collection of waterfalls, meadows, and forests that include groves of Giant Sequoias, the world's largest living thing. Yosemite Valley, which is only 7 miles long, up to a mile high, and a mile wide is the destination for most visitors. From Ansel Gallery to Bridal Veil Falls, bicycle rentals to trail rides, there are no shortage of activities available to you!

The Ahwahnee: A world-class hotel built in 1927 and kept in an excellent condition. Dinner at The Ahwahnee Dining Room will be in your memory for ever. All rooms have air conditioning and TV. Some rooms are available with king size beds. "Known for its magnificent facade, and architecture, The Ahwahnee was specifically designed to highlight its natural surroundings, featuring Yosemite Falls, Half Dome and Glacier Point. The destination of queens and presidents alike, The Ahwahnee offers a perfect balance of history, hospitality and elegance."

The Yosemite Lodge: Located near the Yosemite Falls there are several two-story buildings amidst the sugar pine and redwood trees surrounding a central core that has a cafeteria, a food court and Mountain Room restaurant. Air conditioning and TV have not yet invaded these nicely appointed rooms each with two beds, bathroom, balcony or patio. There is a well-stocked gift shop and store, a large swimming pool and a post office on the grounds.
